Blackfen School for Girls maintained its reputation as a high performing non-selective school in the GCSE examination results this summer.

Blackfen School for Girls maintained its reputation as a high performing non-selective school in the GCSE examination results this summer.  Almost 75% of students gaining 5A*-C grades including Mathematics and English.  Over 31% of students gained at least 3 A*/A grades.

 

Head Teacher, Matthew Brown, commented “I am delighted with these excellent results.  Our students have worked extremely hard and deserve the fantastic grades they have achieved.  The results provide a passport to further study and career opportunities for all our students.  The results have been achieved due to a real team effort – students, staff, parents and Governors have worked hard together to ensure success”.
