In 2026, 62.9% of students in year 11 achieved five or more GCSE 9-4 grades, including at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Mathematics. Progress was also strong. At A level in 2025/2026, 38.5% of grades were at A*-B. Similarly, high levels were achieved in Level 3 BTEC qualifications.
Our Governors wish to appoint a School Finance Manager, we are seeking somebody to lead our finance team and ensure the financial health and sustainability of our School. You will provide strong financial leadership, ensure effective financial management and controls, and help translate our financial strategy into meaningful operational delivery.
We are looking for a confident and collaborative finance professional who can combine technical expertise with leadership, strategic thinking and a genuine appetite for improvement. You will be comfortable working with senior colleagues, challenging constructively, managing competing priorities and communicating complex financial information clearly to a range of audiences.
You will need to be a qualified accountant, a member of a relevant professional accountancy body, or hold the CIPFA Level 7 qualification.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Check.
This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers. The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the person specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
