What have you achieved since leaving Blackfen School?: I went to Townley to complete my A levels and then went on to university to gain a BSc 2:1 (Hons) in Psychology Sociology. I then moved to Southampton to train as a nurse. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing there, moved back and now work as a Nurse Practitioner locally.

What are your fondest memories of Blackfen School?: The teachers. You don’t appreciate at the time how much they put in to your learning and achieving. They encouraged me to move to Townley for my A Levels as at the time Blackfen didn’t offer the subjects I wanted to take. Look what I managed I achieved with their help!

 Tiffany Little

Year leaving Blackfen School: 2004

Subjects I studied at Blackfen School: History and Art at GCSE and then Art, English Lit and Psychology at A-level. Plus a year long Spanish course.

What have you achieved since leaving Blackfen School?: Unlike a lot of my friends, I didn't head off to university after leaving school. To help at home I went to work and spent 10+ years in various sectors including the Civil Service and Tech. I did everything from data entry, event organising, project support and office management. Corporate success didn't make me happy, so I quit to make art. Graphic design, leather craft and fashion styling keep me going now.

What are your fondest memories of Blackfen School?: All the alt kids hanging out and goofing in our own 'common room' (System of a Down, Korn and Manson full volume!). Moderating the school forum and the friendships that bought. Being dragged into the talent show by my (far more talented) friend and practising everyday behind the canteen. Great teachers; Ms Ralph, Mr Watson-Davis, Ms Rawlings, Ms Lucas, Ms Edwards, Jonesy, Mr Waite... Plus friends that I still have now, from my very first day!
