If your child was due to take part in the Black History Month Culture Carnival, they will already have received the following announcement and Year 7 parents will have received a letter from the school.

In light of the current pandemic, and rising covid cases some guests and performers unfortunately had to withdraw from the Black History Month event scheduled for Tuesday 9th November, and so regretfully the Black History Month Event has been cancelled for this term.

Due to the number of staff, students and visitors involved in the event, we would not be able to guarantee adequate social distancing, and so currently we would be unable to run the showcase safely.

We understand that this will be disappointing news for many of you, however, we are hoping to still showcase all the wonderful student work in an alternative event later in the Spring term.
