Raising aspirations - releasing potential

100% pass rate at A2 and Level 3...

Blackfen School’s sixth form students have once again achieved a 100% pass rate at A2 and Level 3 this year.  Over 52% of the grades awarded were at A*-B with 83% at A*-C.

Head Teacher, Matthew Brown, commented, “Congratulations to all 6th form students at the school.  I am immensely proud of them all and I am delighted with the results achieved.  At a time of great changes to the examination systems our students have worked extremely hard and have overcome significant challenges during the last two years.  All students have been highly committed to their studies.  The grades have enabled students to gain places at University or to gain places on high level training schemes and apprenticeships.  The results achieved are testament to the hard work and support from all staff in the school working in partnership with parents/carers.  I wish all the students every success in the future.”
