What have you achieved since leaving Blackfen School?: Since leaving Blackfen, I went to Canterbury Christ Church University and studied Primary Education to become a teacher.
Since leaving University, I have become Lower- School Lead (EYFS and KS1). I have been subject lead for Art, DT and science over the last few years. And now head of Maths and Forest schools.

What are your fondest memories of Blackfen School?: How supportive all the staff were and the life skills I was taught. I am dyslexic and they taught me not to let this stop me and how to overcome barriers. I was told by my peers and members of the community that I would struggle to even get through my GCSEs now I look at where I am in my career and proud of how well I have done in a short period of time.
Even after leaving Blackfen, one of the loving TAs that supported me, helped me through my first year at university.
