30 hours and 50 minutes per week
(Monday to Friday)

Bexley Council 07, Points 071 to 074 – FTE Salary £30,033 to £31,440 per annum
Actual Salary: £22,122.47 - £23,158.88 per annum
Blackfen School is a progressive and vibrant learning community that focuses on raising the aspirations and releasing the potential of every young person in our care. In 2023 / 2024, 67% of students in year 11 achieved five or more GCSE 9-4 grades, including at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Mathematics. Progress was also strong. At A level in 2023/2024, 44% of grades were at A*-B. Similarly, high levels were achieved in Level 3 BTEC qualifications.
Our flourishing Sixth Form offers a wide range of courses at A level, as well as vocational level 2 and 3 courses.
Our Governors wish to appoint a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our current team, as someone who enjoys working with secondary-aged students and values the importance of their education. Initiative and common sense, as well as high-level interpersonal skills are required in this job. Ideally, you will have worked in the role or a similar role previously and can demonstrate effective group management skills and an understanding of classroom leadership. Successful candidate will also take on Community Time Break and Break Duty.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a successful education up to at least Level 3, including skills of computer literacy and a high level of attention to detail.
